You may want to try the SCA India yahoo group.
I followed it several years ago. It looks to still be a pretty active group. http://groups.yahoo.com/group/SCA_India/

Subject: [Sca-cooks] Another Indian Cookbook
I found another interesting book on the Exotic India site: Ksemakutuhalam
(Classical Treatise on Health Care, Dietetics and Cookery Culinary
Science). They are having a 20% off sale right now, so I ordered a copy. I
will provide a review when I get my hands on it.
